The picture of Mohammend Bin Hamman associated with the Raul Blanco article is a bit rich. If he doesn’t want a NZ-based team int eh A-League then that is his right.

Australia is new to the AFC, so it shouldn’t be arrogant towards it.

Besides, it is up to New Zealand itself to develop its football, not Australia. A lot of Australia and put in a lot of work over the past decade to rebuild the game here. Rebuilding NZ football wasn’t part of this overall agenda.

If NZ wants to do the same then it should look at its own plans and implement them accordingly.
